Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Service Sales Representative to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, and inspections.

The role involves establishing contact with prospects, qualifying buyers, and developing strategies to meet sales plans while maintaining strong customer relationships for long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience (5 years) required.
• 5 years minimum B2B sales track record.
• Experience selling a service or intangible or technical product.
• Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell service agreements for building systems products (fire, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, inspections).
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify buyers by scheduling sales calls and following up leads.
• Develop positive ongoing relationships with customers to ensure long-term dedication.
• Determine customer needs and develop sales strategies to communicate service offerings.
• Close sales to meet plan objectives and maintain an active proposal backlog.
• Conduct building surveys to support estimates and maintain accurate sales records.
• Submit sales reports and expenses accurately and timely.
