Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Sales Representative to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire alarms, security, and inspections. You will prospect, qualify, and close deals, building lasting customer relationships and supporting the service department with leads.

Ideal candidates will have a 5+ year B2B sales track record, experience selling services or technical products, and the ability to excel in a matrix environment while meeting quotas.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience (5 years).
• 5 years minimum B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling a service/technical product.
• Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal direction and meet quotas.
• Professional communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Proficient in using PCs and systems (Windows, Oracle).
• Team player mindset and collaboration capability.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems (fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, inspection).
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and schedule sales calls.
• Develop relationships, determine customer needs, and present service offerings.
• Close sales to meet plan objectives and maintain an active proposal backlog.
• Conduct building surveys to support estimates and maintain records of activities.
• Submit sales reports and competitive activity timely; support service leads.
