Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring for an on-site Scheduling Specialist to receive and schedule customer service calls, coordinate technician assignments, and ensure timely preventative maintenance aligned with forecasts. You will debrief daily with technicians and collaborate with billing and support to process completed jobs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–5 years of service industry experience in managing service operations and/or scheduling.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage a large and diverse number of projects, tasks, and issues with tact and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize work activities based on financial impact to business goals.
• Ability to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule customer calls for service under supervision.
• Manage the schedule of technicians and mechanics for timely maintenance.
• Debrief technician activities daily and coordinate with billing and support teams.
• Communicate the action plan to customers and ensure work meets expectations.
• Maintain accurate customer account information in NxGen and support time/expense reporting.
