Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a service scheduling specialist to manage and optimize field technician activity on site. The role focuses on receiving and scheduling service calls, coordinating labor, and ensuring timely completion of preventive maintenance in alignment with monthly goals.

The candidate will debrief technicians daily, verify job completion, and work with billing and support teams to move cases through the process. On-site work is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2–5 years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule customer calls for service under direct supervision.
• Coordinate labor scheduling to align technicians to customer and service needs.
• Ensure on-time service visits and follow-up with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate customer account information in NxGen and support related admin tasks.
