Job summary

TK Elevator currently seeks an experienced Operations Manager- Service/Repair in Roanoke, VA. This role oversees service and repair operations, ensuring profitability and adherence to the annual budget.

You will lead field crews, coordinate with sales, and uphold safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience, with strong knowledge of elevator industry codes and a track record in branch-level leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, or two years’ branch-level management experience.
• Strong knowledge of elevator industry and management methods.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage multiple variables.

Responsibilities

• Supervises superintendents and employees, provides direction, training, and policy enforcement.
• Administers safety program, conducts weekly safety audits and promotes safety culture.
• Visits job sites, conducts quality audits, and ensures cost-effective repairs; spends substantial time in the field.
• Reviews route management and callbacks using accounting reports; adjusts for profitability.
• Provides technical input to sales on bids and material costs for repairs.
• Monitors the 3 callbacks in 30 days program and maintains low cancellation rates.
• Maintains knowledge of codes and line up with training updates; coordinates with Branch Manager and sales managers.
• Manages parts program for service contracts to meet budgets and customer satisfaction.
