Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Production Supervisor to be the heart of the service center, directing vehicle flow, mentoring technicians, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality service experience so owners can get back on adventures.

You will lead a team across shifts, coordinate with Parts and Service Advisors, drive continuous improvement, uphold safety, and embody Rivian's collaborative culture while managing performance and delivering on-time repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in a high-volume automotive service environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Deep technical acumen across modern vehicle systems including high-voltage, electrical, mechanical, and infotainment.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles or workflow optimization in a service or production setting.
• Strong proficiency with digital tools, including dealership management systems, repair order tracking, and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of technicians, cultivating a high-performance culture built on collaboration and continuous learning.
• Actively manage team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Champion the Rivian culture by fostering an inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and empowered.
• Identify and nurture talent, creating clear development paths and providing hands-on training.
• Lead the team's primary advocate, ensuring needs are met and obstacles are removed.
• Oversee service workflows and technician development, including the RIV EXCEL process.
