Job summary

Rivian in Texas is seeking a Service Production Supervisor to be the in-shop quarterback, directing the daily flow from vehicle intake to quality checks while mentoring technicians and fostering a culture of excellence.

You will work across parts, service advisors and cross‑team partners to remove bottlenecks, implement improvements, and ensure Rivian owners return to adventures with a dependable, high‑performing service experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume automotive service environment.
• Deep technical acumen across high-voltage, electrical, mechanical, and infotainment.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing or workflow optimization.
• Strong proficiency with digital tools, including DMS, repair order tracking, and diagnostic software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Natural Leader with hands-on, servant-leadership mindset.
• Exceptional communicator translating technical details for any audience.
• Master organizer managing multiple priorities.
• Resilient problem-solver calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of technicians, cultivating a high-performance culture.
• Actively manage team performance with regular feedback and reviews.
• Champion Rivian culture and foster an inclusive environment.
• Identify and nurture talent with clear development paths and hands-on training.
• Lead on-site cross-team collaboration (DMO/VO/Sales).
• Vendor Relationship Management (Amazon/DSP Accounts).
• Coordinate with Parts, Service Advisors and support teams to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Monitor KPIs and continuously improve the service workflow.
