Job summary

Rivian in Colorado is seeking a Service Production Supervisor to act as the in-shop quarterback, directing vehicle flow from intake to finish, and making real-time production decisions that keep the service center moving efficiently.

You will coach technicians, manage performance, and collaborate across DMO/VO/Sales, Parts, and service teams; ensure safety, quality, and timely deliveries while eliminating bottlenecks and sustaining Rivian’s level of service.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of technicians toward high performance.
• Actively manage team performance with regular feedback and reviews.
• Champion Rivian culture and foster an inclusive environment.
• Identify and nurture talent with clear development paths.
• Advocate for the team and remove obstacles.
• Lead by example and support multiple roles as needed.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration (DMO/VO/Sales).
• Manage vendor relationships (Amazon/DSP accounts).
• Ensure participation in huddles and transparent KPIs.
• Oversee service workflows and RIV EXCEL processes.
• Own the daily production rhythm of the shop from intake to final check.
• Prioritize and assign workload matching skills and capacity.
• Coordinate with Parts and Service Advisors to stop bottlenecks.
• Apply first principles to improve service workflows.
• Monitor repair quality and cycle time to meet Rivian standards.
• Analyze KPIs to drive operational improvements.
• Uphold safety and maintain a world-class workshop.
• Escalate complex issues with urgency and precision.
