Job summary

Star-Sanitation is seeking a Service Manager to oversee all aspects of service technicians at the Stockton branch. This role provides leadership, motivation, and evaluation of the service team while developing and implementing the service operations plan to sustain strong customer relationships and brand loyalty.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of supervisory experience in a similar environment, solid knowledge of equipment service, and a track record of improving field performance.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of supervisory/management experience in a similar work environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of local market conditions and industry trends.
• Experience in heavy equipment retail sales or service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all service technicians at the assigned branch and lead the service operations plan.
• Schedule and dispatch service work, manage inventory, and ensure timely repair orders.
• Drive customer satisfaction and long-term relationships through proactive service.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a productive, collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with branch management on staffing, training, and process improvements.
