Barker and Sons Plumbing in Orange, CA is seeking a Service Manager to lead and develop our Field Operations Staff, oversee sales and service processes, and drive KPI achievement. You’ll coordinate office-field communication and ensure policy compliance while coaching the team to deliver excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes training, onboarding, performance coaching, and staffing to meet customer needs.

Qualificações

• 5+ years’ service manager experience in home services or related field.
• Experience supervising residential plumbers preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Barker & Son's service model process to incoming technicians.
• Conduct weekly ride-along training.
• Actively monitor proper execution of the sewer sales process by all camera technicians.
• Recruit, hire, train and improve the field technicians.
• Partner with Dispatch to ensure opportunity process aligns with field performance.
• Actively engage in daily meetings to review numbers and communicate daily action plan.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new technicians.
• Review critical data with the Operations Manager and conducts targeted coaching and feedback.
• Drive team performance to achieve all business goals and objectives.
• Develop weekly meeting schedule with content in place for 90 days.
• Meet regularly to review key performance indicators, performance management and individual employee development plans.
• Identify performance gaps for apprentices and technicians and develops training programs to address those needs.
• Establish adequate staffing and retention models to meet customer needs.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, technicians, and staff; ensuring service issues are being handled appropriately.
• Train, develop and hold your team accountable to exceptional performance standards.
• Inspire technicians to their goals.
• Follow through on pending sales, invoicing, and financing.
• Develop technician and apprentice work schedule and process PTO requests.
