Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies is seeking a Service Department Manager to optimize dealership service operations, grow profitable labor sales, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role focuses on budgeting, process improvement, and effective staff engagement across the Service Department.

The position requires 3+ years in service operations, familiarity with John Deere products, and the ability to work extended hours. This is a full-time on-site role in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Service Department operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
• Understanding of financial principles related to Service Department operations.
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Creates annual Service Department goals and budget in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develops and executes Service Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to achieve goals.
• Coordinates customer clinics, field days and promotional events.
• Submits service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within required timeframe to receive max credit.
• Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department.
• Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing.
• Ensures all departmental tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order.
• Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development for department staff.
