Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Service Department operations.
• Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
• Basic understanding of financial principles for Service ops.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet functions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors Service Department processes.
• Creates annual Service Department goals and budget.
• Executes Service Department marketing plan and monitors monthly.
• Coordinates customer clinics, field days, and promotional events.
• Submits warranty and Product Improvement Program claims timely.
• Schedules and assigns jobs to employees by skill.
• Reviews work orders before customer billing.
• Ensures tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good order.
• Manages recruiting, staffing and development for department staff.
