Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Service Operations Support Manager in Training to partner with the Operations Manager in driving performance, coaching teams, and building a high-performing staff at our Carrollton location. You will oversee inventory, safety, and service processes to deliver a strong customer experience and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Ability to lead teams to production goals and maintain operational standards.
• Skilled in reading, interpreting, and maintaining accurate data records.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage associates to achieve production targets and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Provide coaching and feedback through formal and informal observations to support associate development.
• Participate in hiring and training processes to build a strong, high-performing team.
• Monitor and maintain key performance measures to ensure operational success.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, delivering exceptional service.
• Oversee EH&S program for the department and/or location, including inspections, waste disposal, safety, and PPE.
