Job summary

CarMax Locust Grove, GA is seeking a Service Operations Support Manager in Training to lead teams, manage inventory, and drive service excellence in our Service Operations Dept.

You will coach associates, participate in hiring and training, monitor KPIs, and pursue continuous improvement while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

This role offers growth within CarMax and exposure to operational leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage associates to achieve production targets and maintain inventory.
• Provide coaching and feedback through formal and informal observations to support associate development.
• Participate in hiring and training processes to build a strong, high-performing team.
• Monitor and maintain key performance measures to ensure operational success.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, delivering exceptional service.
• Responsible for the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) program for your department and/or location, including but not limited to self-inspections, hazardous waste disposal, workplace safety, and PPE.
