Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Service Operations Support Manager in Training to lead teams, maintain inventory, and advance service operations. You will partner with the Operations Manager to drive performance, deliver strong associate development, and improve the customer experience across the service function.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced setting, strong data literacy, and the ability to coach, train, and lead under varying conditions, including nights

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and maintain accurate data records.
• Strong multi-tasking and adaptability in dynamic settings.
• Effective verbal and written communication for customers and associates.
• Proficiency in common and proprietary software systems.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage associates to meet production targets and maintain inventory levels.

• Participate in hiring and training to build a high-performing team.
• Monitor key performance measures and drive operational success.
• Execute continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Address customer concerns promptly with professional service.
• Oversee EH&S program for the department/location, including inspections and PPE.
