Job summary

Progress Residential in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Service Manager for the Property Management team. You will lead open service jobs and preventative maintenance for occupied single-family homes, directing a local area and team.

The role requires strong vendor management, scheduling, and customer service, plus knowledge of HUD/HQS standards and Housing Choice programs. 5+ years in operations, EPA refrigerant certification, and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing service, operations and maintenance in multi-family, single family, military housing or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA certified to handle refrigerants.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate working knowledge of lease documents and resident rules and regulations.
• Manage service jobs to provide outstanding customer service and timely resolution to resident requests on occupied homes.
• Monitor response times, resident satisfaction and productivity within portfolio.
• Review schedules and approve third party vendors, vendor pricing, resident charge backs and invoices for completed work.
• Provide technical support to service technicians for proper diagnosis and repair of all service jobs.
• Ensure required training is completed on time for self and team members.
