Orkin in Grand Rapids is seeking a Service Manager to lead a high-performance service operation. You will develop and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service, balancing technical know-how with empathy and integrity.

This role emphasizes strong communication with customers and staff and includes opportunities to participate in community service projects. You will train, manage, and mentor Orkin Pros, oversee training meetings, and ensure delivery of outstanding empathetic

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation after completion of paid training.
• Motivate the service team to consistently provide top-notch service while prioritizing safety.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management.
• Lead training meetings and oversee Ride-A-Long program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met through inspections and empathetic service.
• Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products and technology.
• Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies.
