Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service team, support technicians and dispatch, and ensure customers have a positive experience from start to finish. You will drive operational efficiency and oversee budgeting in collaboration with the general manager.

The role requires 3+ years of management experience and a working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC, with strong supervisory and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong supervisory, communication and computer skills required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the service staff, including hiring, evaluation and directing work assignments.
• Coordinate maintenance, service, and indoor air quality to improve operational efficiency.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the general manager on budgeting and resource planning.
• Generate reports on department operations, inventory, and vehicles.
• Instruct crews on materials usage and workmanship quality.
• Review payroll records to ensure proper technician compensation.
• Communicate with dispatchers to assign suitable technicians.
