Job summary

Johnson Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead the residential plumbing service team and drive customer-first outcomes. You will oversee technician performance, training, and profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will coach technicians, monitor metrics, and collaborate with dispatch and office staff to maximize efficiency and quality. A strong leadership background in home services is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential plumbing experience with service and repair background.
• Previous leadership or management experience in plumbing or home-service.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, diagnostics, repairs and replacements.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop technicians.
• Understanding of plumbing service and replacement sales, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential plumbing service technicians.
• Set clear expectations for performance, productivity, professionalism, and customer service.
• Monitor department KPIs to ensure goals are met and provide regular coaching.
• Ride along with technicians to evaluate performance and provide development support.
• Assist with difficult technical, customer, or sales situations and ensure proper diagnostics.
