Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and high-quality food is prepared and served. The role also ensures the restaurant crew is well trained, the line is organized, and that staff are supported to perform effectively.

The position involves on-your-feet work, supervision of line operations, and contributing to training and development of front-of-house staff.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, and daily safety checklists.
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitoring crew breaks, shifts, meetings, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross training all front of house Crew.
• Assisting with Crew performance reviews.
• Developing future Service Leaders.
• Assisting with office administration duties and paperwork.
• Ensuring office equipment and supplies are in good order.
