Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food is prepared and served and by training and supporting the restaurant crew. The role requires staying on their feet, staying productive during downtime, and assisting with various operations and administration tasks.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Help resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety: hand washing, gloves, time/temperature checks, shelf life monitoring, Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence
• Resolve customer incidents and foster positive experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with office administration: banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are ordered
