Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides excellent service.

The role requires standing on the line, coordinating tasks, and stepping in to assist with tasks when not busy. You will help train crew, supervise shifts, and contribute to a smooth restaurant operation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety and monitor line times and shelf lives.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and with developing future Service Leaders.
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies).
• Ensure office equipment operates and supplies are stocked.
