Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Service Engineer I to join our Duluth, GA team. You will provide technical support to customers and internal teams, troubleshoot product issues, and manage warranty claims in a fast‑paced environment.

You will read drawings, interpret specifications, and coordinate with service providers to ensure timely repair options and accurate records. A technical background in electrical engineering is preferred, with several years in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in technical support, service engineering, warranty, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of electric motors and motor applications.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, schematics, specs, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and end users by phone and email.
• Troubleshoot product and application issues and recommend solutions.
• Process warranty claims and coordinate with service providers.
• Develop warranty and service-related reports for management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Sales and Operations.
