Job summary

WEG Electric Corp in Duluth, GA is seeking a Product Support Engineer (Electrical Motors) to provide post-sales technical support for our motor product line. You will handle complex calls and warranty inquiries, reading drawings and advising customers and internal teams.

You bring a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and 2–3 years of related experience; SAP experience is a plus, with travel up to 25% and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent; 2–3 years of related experience.
• Customer service orientation with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information.
• Working knowledge of electric motors; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the Electric Motors product line.
• Resolve long-term and escalated technical calls and emails dealing with post-sales troubleshooting and warranty claims.
• Communicate issues with internal customers (Quality, Engineering, Sales); analyze warranty data and determine accuracy; issue credits.
• Arrange third party assistance for customers when needed.
