WEG Electric Corp. seeks a Service Engineer I to join our Duluth, GA team. You will provide technical support for WEG products, assist customers, distributors, and service centers with applications, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and repair recommendations.

Ideal candidates have several years in technical support or service engineering, with strong knowledge of motor applications and a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in technical support, service engineering, warranty, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of electric motors and motor applications.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and end users via phone and email.
• Troubleshoot product and application issues and recommend solutions.
• Review and process warranty claims.
• Coordinate third-party service support when required.
• Develop warranty and service-related reports for management.
• Prepare return authorizations and factory documentation as needed.
• Track warranty trends to support quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share technical knowledge.
