Job summary

WEG Electric is seeking a Product Support Engineer (Service) for our Duluth, GA office. You will provide technical support for our Electric Motors product line and handle post-sales troubleshooting, warranty claims, and technical issues.

As a member of the Service Department, you will resolve long-term and escalated calls, communicate with Quality, Engineering, and Sales, analyze warranty data, issue credits, and coordinate with factories in Brazil and Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related experience.
• Customer-service oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the Electric Motors product line.
• Resolve long-term and escalated technical calls and emails (post-sales).
• Handle warranty claims and related issues.
• Communicate issues with internal customers (Quality, Engineering, Sales).
• Analyze warranty claims data and determine accuracy; issue credits.
• Coordinate with factories in Brazil and Mexico; arrange third-party assistance when needed.
