Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking a Service Engineer or Specialist to deliver service and support for customer control systems, ensuring SLAs are met. Responsibilities span troubleshooting, hardware/software updates, and field testing, with on-site startup and project support.

The role also involves travel and coordination with technical teams to resolve incidents. The candidate will engage in sales support and customer communications, leveraging experience across multiple controls

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in customer environments.
• Experience with multiple controls platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara N4, Distech, Metasys, Apogee, RSLogix) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Kepware OPC server and virtualization/tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and software updates of control systems.
• Identify and address system malfunctions or inefficiencies to uphold SLAs.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve critical incidents quickly.
• Configure and test control systems and HMI screens on-site or remotely.
• Support sales teams during customer meetings and identify opportunities.
