Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking a Service Engineer or Specialist to provide ongoing service and support to customers. The role requires troubleshooting hardware and software, controller programming, graphics configuration, and field testing of equipment.

You will maintain SLAs, work onsite with customers, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve incidents. Responsibilities include system inspections, maintenance, upgrades, and coordinating with design and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in approved mechanical, electrical or similar engineering degree track OR equivalent industry experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems found within customer environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of at least one applicable controls platform (BACnet, LON, Niagara/N4, Metasys, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and software updates of control systems.
• Identify and address system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements to improve efficiency and performance.
• Continuously monitor service and support communication channels (phone, email, chat, tickets).
• Track service metrics and KPIs to identify issues and trends.
• Promptly respond to incidents, outages, and service disruptions to maintain SLAs.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve critical incidents quickly.
