Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Service Engineer to provide technical support for our motor products, assist customers, distributors, and service centers with applications, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and repair recommendations.

You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, analyze warranty data, and coordinate with third-party service providers, building product knowledge and contributing to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and at least 1 year of relevant electrical/mechanical experience required.
• 1+ year in technical support or service engineering, warranty, or related customer support.
• Strong knowledge of electric motors and motor applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and product documentation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via phone and email.
• Troubleshoot product issues and recommend solutions.
• Review, process, and coordinate warranty claims.
• Coordinate third-party service providers as needed.
• Prepare return authorizations (RGAs) and related documentation.
• Track warranty trends and support quality improvements.
