Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Drive Manager to lead daily operations on the service drive, drive improvements, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will coordinate service consultants, monitor performance, and guide teamwork to meet repair targets and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an auto repair facility.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign daily work objectives for service consultants.
• Monitor performance and counsel service consultants with behavioral or performance issues.
• Train, coach, supervise and assist service consultants.
• Assist in the service reception during peak traffic times by greeting customers and obtaining vehicle data.
• Maintain supplies required to operate the service drive.
• Review open repair orders daily and resolve those beyond current week’s business.
• Partner with dealership personnel to ensure quality of service.
• Perform quality inspections of vehicles being returned to customers.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with service work.
