Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Director to lead service operations for single-family rental homes. You will oversee a service team, manage work orders, vendors, and budget performance, while delivering outstanding resident service and maintaining profitability.

You will partner with central operations, train staff, and ensure adherence to company standards and safety requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing operations or maintenance in single-family, multi-family, commercial, or military housing.
• Experience in managing multiple staff members over a geographic region.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily service operations across properties and drive service quality.
• Oversee work order execution for technicians and vendors.
• Monitor financial performance, expenses, and KPIs to meet budget.
• Lead and develop local teams, aligning with company standards.
• Coordinate purchasing and vendor management.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Mentor staff and drive process improvements.
