Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Director to lead and manage service work orders across single-family rental properties in Phoenix. You will direct a service team, oversee vendor coordination, and ensure exceptional resident service while driving budget and KPI performance.

The role requires 10+ years in operations, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 25% with flexible hours. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; a HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing operations or maintenance in housing.
• Experience managing multiple staff over a geographic region.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and be on-call as needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Salesforce or Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily service operations, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee work order execution for technicians and vendors.
• Monitor maintenance financial performance and KPIs to meet budget targets.
• Lead and develop local teams, driving engagement and accountability.
• Coordinate purchasing and vendor management processes.
• Drive resident satisfaction and retention through service excellence.
• Train and mentor service staff for improved performance.
