Job summary

M&K Truck Centers in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Service Manager to coordinate and oversee daily Service Department activities, driving efficiency, profitability, and maintaining service records.

The role requires a BA in Business Management, 5 years of related experience, strong interpersonal skills, and experience with heavy-duty dealerships. CDL preferred; must meet insurability standards. Competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Business Management is preferred.
• Five years of related experience and/or training is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Experience with heavy duty dealerships is preferred.
• CDL may be required or preferred depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the service staff.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Develops plans to meet sales revenues and net profit goals.
• Maintains 24-hour follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
