Job summary

M&K Truck Centers is seeking a Service Manager in Toledo, OH to coordinate and oversee the Service Department’s daily activities. The role focuses on producing an efficient, profitable service operation through staffing, customer retention, and cost controls.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Business Management and at least five years’ related experience, with strong interpersonal skills and experience in heavy duty dealerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management preferred.
• Five years of related experience and/or training required.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Experience with heavy duty dealerships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the daily activities for the Service Department.
• Develop and monitor an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Set plans to meet sales revenues and net profit goals.
• Lead and motivate service department staff; hire and train as needed.
• Monitor department performance using reports and tracking systems.
• Maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Handle customer complaints promptly according to dealership guidelines.
• Ensure 24-hour follow-up with customers to confirm satisfaction.
