Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas and customer service and product flow experience helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and provide direction.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentors and coaches team members to exceed service and sales goals.
• Implements strategies to improve customer service and store performance.
• Maintains store appearance and product presentation to Meijer standards.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Communicates the Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and conversations.
• Ensures safety, training completion, and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
