Job summary

Meijer is seeking a customer-focused team member to help deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will engage customers, collaborate with teammates, and support daily department operations to meet service, sales, and safety standards.

You will coach peers, participate in training, and help ensure accurate merchandising and inventory controls while upholding Meijer’s standards for food safety and customer care.

• Assist in training new team members and cross-training high potential talent.
• Support scheduling to improve customer service, store sales and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness and proper rotation and dating policies.
• Maintain food safety standards and a safe work environment.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and product displays.
