Meijer is a family-owned retailer seeking an experienced store supervisor to lead day-to-day operations across departments. You will staff, hire, mentor, and coach team members, implement strategies to improve customer service, and ensure sales goals are met while controlling shrink and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas and strong customer service focus.
• Clear, precise direction to team members and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.
• Proven ability to mentor team members and promote safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career paths and development; participate in promotion decisions.
• Disciplinary actions and recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and controlling shrink.
• Model exceptional, fast, friendly customer service and Meijer initiatives.
• Ensure team is trained and performs duties to Meijer standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
