Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, coach a high-performing team, and partner with the Store Manager to drive excellence in operations.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role.

• Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervising technicians and service personnel, planning and scheduling their duties, assigning work, and following up on completion of assignments.
• Coaching service department teammates on operational issues and service standards.
• Working directly with customers in areas of sales, service, customer opportunities, adjustments, etc.
• Evaluating performance and productivity of all service department personnel.
• Managing parts inventory and outside purchases, ensuring compliance with tire purchase program, restocking in-house parts.
• Ensuring store safety and proper use of safety equipment.
• Overseeing equipment layout and shop positioning within the service department.
• Supervising shop area, equipment, and teammates for compliance with safety procedures.
• Coaching on enforcing wheel torqueing process and ensuring proper inspections.
