Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, coach staff, and uphold safety and service standards across the store. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive excellence in operations and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a Service Manager, strong leadership, organized approach, and solid communication skills to mentor technicians and service personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on coaching to improve service team performance.
• Recruitment support and final employment decisions with Store Manager.
• Supervise technicians, plan duties, assign work, follow up on completion.
• Work with customers on sales, service, opportunities and adjustments.
• Evaluate performance and productivity of service staff.
• Manage parts inventory and purchases per program, restock as needed.
• Ensure store safety and proper use of safety equipment.
• Supervise equipment layout and shop area compliance.
• Coach staff on wheel torqueing process and inspections.
