Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Customer Center, coordinating service technicians to meet industrial compressed air needs. You will manage customer interactions, scheduling, invoicing, and parts logistics with a strong emphasis on service quality.

The role requires organization, clear communication, and the ability to work with sales teams and management to ensure order and operational excellence. Dallas-based with some US travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians for preventive maintenance and service repairs.
• Guide and develop service technicians as appropriate, assisting in technical issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage service inventory and rental fleets (repair status, location, etc.).
• Ensure EH&S and Operational Excellence adherence in the Customer Center; assist with auditing processes.
• Earn customer loyalty by effectively managing customer interactions and follow-up on quotes; seek new business where possible.
• Order and receive parts for jobs; monitor shipping and receiving; input service requests and manage data; submit warranty claims and ship parts to factory.
• Display team effort with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
