Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Kansas City, MO invites applications for a Service Coordinator who will support the Customer Center and coordinate service technicians to meet the compressed air needs of the industrial sector. You will manage customer interactions, quotes, and service orders, while ensuring timely invoicing and efficient scheduling.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of experience operating Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
Salesforce experience a plus.
Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems a plus.
Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians to perform preventive maintenance and service repairs.
Guide and develop service technicians as appropriate, assisting in technical issue resolution.
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
Manage service inventory and rental fleets (repair status, location, etc.).
Ensure environmental, health and safety, as well as Operational Excellence adherence in the Customer Center.
Earn customer loyalty by effectively and efficiently managing customer interactions, generating quotes and following up.
Order and receive parts for jobs and monitor shipping/receiving activities.
Submit warranty claims and ship parts to the factory.
Display team effort with overtime/weekend flexibility as needed.
