Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Customer Center and meet the compressed air needs of the industrial sector in Kansas City, MO.

You will coordinate service technicians, manage customer communications, and ensure timely invoicing and quotes. The role emphasizes strong organization, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High-performing organizational and communication abilities required.
• Must have a minimum of 2+ years using Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to follow up effectively.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Guide and develop service technicians; assist in technical issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage service inventory and rental fleets.
• Ensure EH&S and Operational Excellence adherence in the Customer Center.
• Generate quotes and follow up on service opportunities.
• Order and receive parts; monitor shipping and receiving.
• Submit warranty claims and ship parts to the factory.
• Show flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
