Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Customer Center and address the compressed air needs of the industrial sector. You will deliver excellent customer service and efficiently coordinate technicians to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include managing service calls, coordinating technicians, invoicing, parts orders, and quotes while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role may require overtime and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2+ years of operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone/tablet).

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians for preventive maintenance and service repairs.
• Guide and develop service technicians and assist in issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage service inventory and rental fleets (repair status, location, etc.).
• Uphold EH&S and Operational Excellence in the Customer Center and assist audits.
• Generate and follow up on service quotes and pursue new business when possible.
• Order and receive parts, monitor shipping/receiving, and enter service requests.
• Submit warranty claims and ship parts to the factory; ensure SARBOX compliance.
• Display teamwork and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
