Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Customer Center and coordinate service technicians for the industrial compressed air solutions. The role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service and efficiently aligning field staff with customer needs.

Based in the Indianapolis area, the position involves invoicing, inventory management, parts orders, and ensuring safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2-3 years of related experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; handheld device usage.
• Salesforce experience a plus.
• Forklift certification a plus but not required.
• Physically capable of regular lifting (up to 40+ lbs).

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Guide and develop service technicians, assisting in issue resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage service inventory and rental fleets.
• Ensure EH&S and Operational Excellence adherence in the Customer Center.
• Generate and follow up on service quotes and seek new business where possible.
• Order/receive parts; monitor shipping; submit warranty claims.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
