Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is looking for an Assistant Service Center Manager in Chanhassen, MN. You will be the right hand of the Service Center Manager, leading a high‑performing team, guiding technicians, and ensuring service quality and guest satisfaction.

You will develop weekly schedules, train new staff, manage inventory, and support store operations while upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience required in retail or service environment.
• Strong customer service mindset with loyalty-building ability.
• Experience in fast-paced environments and making judgments under pressure.
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure that recommended services are reviewed.
• Supervise daily operations of the service center and train new team members.
• Build trust and win repeat, loyal customers by delivering excellent service.
• Develop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees.
• Assist with inventory, ensuring appropriate product levels and scheduling orders.
• Assist with store audits and maintain a clean, safe service center.
• Open and close the service center, following safety and security protocols.
• Lead and train the team to optimize their development.
