Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Forest Lake, MN, is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager to be the right hand of the Service Center Manager. You will lead a high-performance team, supervise hourly staff, and ensure the service experience stands out by coaching and enforcing standards.

You’ll manage daily operations on the shop floor, build trust with guests through fast, reliable service, and develop weekly schedules.

Qualifications

• From day one, hands-on training and support to thrive as Assistant Service Center Manager.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required (coaching, training, and supervising a team).
• Customer service mindset and ability to build loyalty while following procedures.
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance tasks; educate guests on vehicle upkeep.
• Supervise daily service-center operations and train new team members.
• Develop weekly work schedules ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with labor laws.
• Assist with inventory management and store audits; maintain a clean, safe environment.
