Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Woodbury, MN is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager to lead a high-performance team, perform vehicle maintenance tasks, and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will train hourly staff, schedule work, manage inventory, and uphold safety while delivering Valvoline’s quick, easy, trusted service. This role offers hands-on coaching and a clear path to a Service Center Manager position.

Qualifications

• From day one, you’ll get the hands-on training and support you need to thrive as an Assistant Service Center Manager.
• We seek team members with: 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail or service environment, coaching and training a team.
• Customer service mindset and ability to build loyalty while following procedures.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and sound judgement under pressure.
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance, trends, and identify improvements.
• Schedule flexibility; weekend availability likely, with no late nights or holidays.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Perform oil changes and maintenance services, educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Supervise daily service-center operations and train new team members.
• Build trust and win repeat customers through excellent service.
• Develop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees, ensure coverage and compliance.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Support store audits and maintain a clean, safe, organized service center.
• Open and close the service center, following safety protocols.
• Lead and train the team to maximize development.
