Qualifications

• Knowledge of the LTL/ Transportation Industry.
• Experience managing Drivers and Dock Workers.
• Experience managing a Sales staff.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and measures Service Center performance to identify opportunities or problem areas and develop solutions.
• Maintains excellent communication with external and internal customers
• Analyzes revenue statistics
• Identifies sales opportunities and develops customer solutions
• Keeps informed of competitor developments
• Recruits, trains and develops Service Center personnel
• Develops sales/marketing action plans to maximize territory revenue
• Investigates and initiates corrective actions for accidents and injuries
• Ensures safety practices compliance (DOT, EPA, ICC, OSHA)
• Evaluates freight claims
• Maintains premises
• Leads informational meetings with the Service Center team
• Handles special assignments as directed
