You will analyze metrics, manage budgets, and develop sales and service strategies while ensuring safety and compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating with customers and internal teams, overseeing freight operations, and pursuing growth opportunities in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a logistics/transportation setting.
• Experience developing and managing budgets.
• Proven ability to lead drivers, dock workers, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the service center to peak performance.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities and resolve challenges.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Review revenue trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Partner on sales strategies and help expand the territory.
• Stay ahead of competitor activity and industry trends.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Create and execute sales and marketing action plans.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and regulatory standards (DOT, OSHA, EPA, ICC).
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee freight claims and facility maintenance.
• Lead team meetings and drive continuous improvement.
