Job summary

Jim Shorkey North Hills Toyota seeks a BDC Service Representative to coordinate inbound requests, schedule appointments and follow up with leads via phone, text, and email. You will be the first contact for customers and must maintain poise and product knowledge while guiding service needs.

Responsibilities include answering internet leads, scheduling, walking customers through services, and staying informed on promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Pass a drug test and a background check.
• Strong phone and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn programs.
• Be organized, alert, professional and courteous.
• Demonstrate commitment to 100% customer satisfaction and familiarity with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Answer internet leads and phone inquiries for service appointments.
• Schedule and verify appointments; follow up by phone, text or email.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
• Greet walk-in customers and provide courteous assistance.
• Identify vehicle service needs and arrange appropriate appointments.
• Maintain contact with customers to ensure satisfaction and promote promotions.
• Assist with additional duties at the dealership as needed.

Jim Shorkey North Hills Toyota is in search of a BDC Service Representative to join our growing team! In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating all incoming requests made via telephone or online, scheduling appointments, monitoring and contacting leads, and acting as a first point of contact for customers.

Schedule rotates very slightly. In general, it will be Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm OR10:00 am - 6:00 pm. It would be required to work every 3rd Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. (You would get a day off during the week)

Responsibilities

• You'll answer internet leads from manufacturer and third-party websites, answer phone calls from customers looking to schedule service for their vehicle and continue to reach out to your existing customer base through phone, text, and email daily.
• Scheduling and verifying appointments, then follow up phone calls
• Maintaining thorough, up-to-date knowledge of our products.
• Greeting and assisting walk-in customers, and treating all clientele with courtesy and respect.
• Determining each customer's vehicle service needs and making appointments accordingly
• Maintaining contact with customers to ensure they are happy with our service.
• Ensuring potential customers are aware of any promotions.
• Assisting with various other tasks at the dealership.
